We especially thank Sheriff Joey East for his leadership and decisive action in ensuring the safety of our students, faculty, and staff. We are incredibly appreciative of the tireless work of the Lafayette County Sheriff's Department investigators who diligently pursued the suspect, leading to a safe resolution.
Finally, we extend our heartfelt thanks to the Lafayette County Sheriff's Department School Resource Officers, who provided a reassuring presence at the school and played a vital role in maintaining a calm and secure environment.
